The National Drive it Day and Ride it Day is an opportunity for all classic car owners and classic motorcyclists to drive out and visit participating venues in the company of like minded classic vehicle enthusiasts. The museum will welcome all participants visiting the museum and will make a donation on behalf of each one to the NSPCC,the nominated charity of the organisers. Visitors, whether just popping in or staying for a longer period can tour the museum and enjoy a range of light snacks, tea, coffee and soft drinks which will be available all day.
MG/Triumph/Austin Healey Car Clubs Visit

Visit from south east based classic car owners of these three marques. Owners of these classic cars are welcome to join the display at no charge. Catering will be available all day and normal entry rates for visitors to the museum will apply.
Rolls Royce and Bentley Day

The South Eastern Section of the Rolls Royce Enthusiasts’ Club will be visiting the museum today and their display of cars is sure to make a splendid sight for all our visitors. All owners of Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars are very welcome to add their vehicles to the display. Catering will be available all day and normal entry rates for visitors to the museum will apply.
Classic Car Show

Booking is now open for classic car owners to secure a spot in our popular annual show. We’re planning to have 50+ of the most interesting classic cars from days gone by. There is no booking fee and exhibitors and museum visitors can look forward to a great show with light snacks, tea, coffee and soft drinks available all day.
Rootes Group Cars Day

Calling all Hillman, Humber, Singer, Sunbeam, Chrysler UK, Commer, and Karrier classic vehicle owners. Please bring your classic along and join in our dedicated day for all Rootes Group products. Catering will be available all day and normal entry rates for visitors to the museum will apply.
Medway Classic Car Club Day

Visit from Medway Classic Car Club. 20 cars of various makes will feature in the display and all classic car owners are invited to come along and add to the fun at no charge. Catering will be available all day and normal entry rates for visitors to the museum will apply.
Norton Motorcycle Day
Sunday 21st JulyNorton Motorcycle Day
National Norton Motorcycle Club visit when we expect a wide range of Norton models to add to our already interesting collection of classic Norton’s. Other Norton owners are welcome to join us on the day at no charge. Catering will be available all day and normal entry rates for visitors to the museum will apply.
Model Weekend
Saturday/Sunday August 3rd & 4th
Join us at this traditional museum weekend when exhibits inside the museum are moved around to accomodate additional model railway layouts and a road network for working trucks. In the museum grounds tanks and other military vehicles will be operating alongside the pool where the naval and other maritime models will be put through their paces. A great family day out to be enjoyed by all with catering including light snacks, soft drinks, teas and coffees available throughout the weekend.
Classic Motorcycle Show
Sunday September 15th 2024
Our annual Classic Motorcycle Show aims to showcase classic British bikes and many other models from around the world. This event is also your last opportunity to purchase raffle tickets before the draw takes place around midday.
The prize on offer is a 1957 BSA Bantam (or the alternative £1000 in cash).
Entry is free for exhibitors but booking is essential.
Catering will be available all day and normal entry rates for visitors to the museum will apply.
Admission: Adults £12.00, Children £6.00, and a Family ticket is £25.00
Tickets are Valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
