As a nominated venue for the national Drive It Day and Ride It Day event please drop by with your classic car or motor bike and spend as long as you like at the museum. Our usual catering service is available all day and all event entrants have free entry to the museum for the day. Normal museum rates apply to visitors and annual tickets are valid.

Classic entries from 0930 and visitors from 1030.

2026 Classic Car Show
Exhibit your classic car and enjoy full access to the event and the museum for the day. 
This is such a popular event in the museum’s calendar that booking is required, and although there is no charge for exhibitors, a £5 donation to the museum is encouraged.
All cars over 40 years old are eligible for the event, and we look forward to seeing as wide a range of vehicles as possible on the day.


Exhibitor entry is from 0900 and visitors from 1030.
Full catering service will be available all day.

2026 Model Weekend

Saturday/ Sunday July 25th/26th 

2026 Model Weekend
Visitors of all ages should come along to this 2 day event where the museum is re-shaped to accommodate all types of transport models. In addition to providing a boating lake for water born models,
there are additional model railways, indoor road model layouts, and of course, the fantastic military vehicle models and road haulage vehicles roaming the grounds.
Normal ticket prices apply for visitors, and annual tickets are valid for both days. A full catering service will be available.

Classic Motorcycle Show on Sunday September 21st

Exhibit your classic motorbike and enjoy full access to the museum and event for the day.
No booking required and no charge for exhibitors (although a £5 donation is encouraged) with all bikes 40 + years old qualifying. Looking forward to seeing a full range of bikes built in the UK and from across the world.

The last opportunity to buy tickets for the AJS Tempest 125cc as the raffle will be drawn at 1300hrs: this year we also have a second prize of £100 and a third prize of an annual family ticket for the museum.

Exhibitor entry is from 0900 and visitors from 1030. A full catering service will be available all day.

Admission: Adults £12.00, Children £6.00, and a Family ticket is £28.00

Tickets are Valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
