2026 opening hours

The museum will be open commencing Sunday February 15th, every Sunday, Wednesday and Bank Holiday from 1030 until 1530 with final entry at 1430. A full cafe service will be available on each of the open days.

Visitors are advised that due to ongoing works our collection of Norman motorcycles will not be available to visitors until April 2026. The new exhibition featuring the National Collection of Norman Motorcycles is currently being curated for display in our purpose built exhibition space.

Follow the website for special events and don’t forget normal tickets can be used to gain entry to the museum, including for special events, for a full year following the date of issue.

Admission Prices

Adults: £12.00 (no concessions)

Children £6.00 (5yrs - 16yrs),  under 5yrs free

Family Ticket £28 (2 adults, 2 children or 1 adult 3 children)

One carer admitted free with a disabled visitor

Tickets are valid for re-entry for 12 months from the date of 1st visit

One child free per "Max Card" when accompanied by a paying adult

Be a Gift Aid Visitor

We can then recover tax on your donation, that’s worth an extra 25p to us for every £1 you give. All you need to do is complete a simple declaration when you arrive. To help in this way you must be a UK taxpayer.

Disabled Access

The museum is accessible to wheelchair users, staff assisted access from disabled parking area available upon request. Also, disabled toilet facility is onsite

Free for cars and coaches.

On most days we offer a selection of hot and cold drinks with a selection of light snacks. Cafe service is subject to availability.
