The ‘Friends of the East Kent’ (Road Car Company Limited) are celebrating the 105th anniversary of the East Kent Road Car Company commencing operations in Deal on 1st September 1916 by operating a number of free bus services in the Deal, Dover, Sandwich, Whitfield and Eythorne area on Saturday 4th September 2021

  Free bus services will be operating from 10:00am over the following routes

  80X    South Street Deal to Dover Transport Museum

  85       Canada Road, Walmer to King Edward Road, Sandown

  87       Pencester Road, Dover to Dover Transport Museum

  88       Sandwich Guildhall to Dover Transport Museum, via Eythorne Railway Station

  A rail service will be running between Eythorne and Shepherdswell stations.

 

 

Dover Transport Museum will be open from 10:30 with the last entry at 15:30.

Normal museum admission charges apply.

Bus services run from Dover town centre and stop at Honeywood Road, from here walk towards the superstore, turn right into Menzies Road, then left into Willingdon Road. The Museum is located on the left.
