Newly qualified biker, Keith Laming, was absolutely delighted to take delivery of the 2020 AJS Tempest Roadster motorbike, his prize for winning our 2026 Motorbike Raffle.

Keith purchased the winning ticket when he attended our classic car event in April this year. He actually drove to the museum, from his home in Hartlip, near Sittingbourne, in his pristine Commer breakdown truck, just one of several vehicles in his collection of wonderful classic cars and motorcycles, which includes a 1929 Rolls-Royce.

The winning ticket was drawn at our annual Classic Bike Show in September 2026 and the bike was delivered to Keith at his home just a couple of weeks later by Phil Letchford, our workshop manager.

Keith was absolutely delighted with the new addition to his collection and said he would be giving it a run out the following day. When Keith originally learned of his good fortune, he was so pleased he promised to donate £500 to the museum in order to show his appreciation.
